Ever since Saturn, the taskmaster planet, entered your financial sector (second house) in March 2023, money may have seemed tight, or you may have chosen to live more frugally to save up for something big that mattered to your life—a worthy goal. For instance, you may have given up buying new clothes or having dinners out on weekends to save for a down payment for a house or condo, or to build a nest egg in anticipation for the arrival of a baby. In other words, you may have chosen to live a more Spartan life in favor of saving up for something of great importance to you.
Additionally, in business, VIPs with whom you have a financial relationship (like your boss or, if self-employed, your clients) may have seemed too budget-conscious over the past two years. The word “stingy” comes to mind. No matter how you tried, it was hard to shake money out of the powers that be.
Saturn in this position teaches you wisdom through a series of tests and challenges. As he moved through your second house of earned income over the past two years, Saturn has been teaching you to do more with the money you were already earning or had saved.
You have learned to find the lowest price for high-ticket items by doing comparison shopping. You may have started to negotiate better for yourself in your career. When you shopped, you began to seek quality items that would last. There were many possibilities. Saturn teaches through tough love—he has your best interests in mind, but you might feel Saturn has a strange way of showing it. Life has probably not been entirely easy with Saturn in this financial part of your chart, but you are about to see light at the end of the tunnel.
