Your Horoscope for Gemini
by Susan Miller
Meanwhile, another interesting set of planets will work on your behalf at the time of the full moon on August 9. Mars, newly minted in your fifth house of creativity, will send a beam of supreme harmony—a trine—to Uranus, the planet of innovation and surprise, now in Gemini and your first house of you (your personality). This tells me that your success will, in large part, hinge on the unique personality that you put into this project. Uranus would have it no other way. You may feel a nontraditional approach is called for, and you will be eager to present the material you are working on in a new, fresh, and more modern way. Uranus feels it is necessary to break a few eggs now and then, so to speak, and you seem to have license to do so now (be careful though—check your thinking with your client or boss first).
Take this in—Uranus is currently in Gemini and your first house at 1 degree, Mars will be in Libra and your fifth house at 1 degree at this full moon, and both planets will send a divinely harmonious beam to Pluto in Aquarius and your ninth house at 2 degrees (discussed earlier, this house includes communication-oriented ventures, among other matters). At the same time as the August 9 full moon, Pluto, Uranus, and Mars will form a tight, perfect, air-sign golden triangle. I nearly fell off the couch when I saw this. Dear Gemini, this full moon is made for you.
Whether you are an author, musician, poet, columnist, producer, TV host, or game developer, or you work in advertising, marketing, public relations, research, translation, app development, or any other facet of the communication arts, you are about to find yourself in the exactly right place at the right time.
I noticed something important about this full moon. I checked my app “Moonlight Phases” (available for a one-time price of $7.99 on the Apple App Store and Google Play), which tells me when the moon is “void of course.” Void of course means the moon is not engaging with other planets, which is unfortunate for new ventures. My app has GPS in it, so it can follow you wherever you happen to be. In New York, the moon will be void on the day of the full moon, August 9, from 3:54 AM until the next day, August 10, at 2:50 AM when the moon will move to Pisces. That is very long for the moon to be “out to lunch.”
That’s almost 24 hours of the moon being void and not helpful to your venture. I looked at the day prior to this full moon, Friday August 8, which is a dazzling day that’s breathtaking in its scope. The moon will still be in Aquarius and much more engaged with the planets.
