Friends may be posting photos on social media about their excellent adventures to far-flung places in the wild blue yonder lately, but you’ve been pinned to your desk, working on a project. The new moon that appeared July 24 likely brought in a fresh set of assignments. No problem, you can travel when you like later, and if you work for others, you might put in such a stellar performance that you’ll earn a bonus. If you are self-employed, you will have a chance to make a good profit.
Pluto was opposed to the Sun on July 24, so as you ended July and entered August, you may have had to fulfill the demands of a client and perhaps do things over. Mercury started to retrograde July 18 and will still be out of phase until you get to August 10. Mercury could have accounted for some of the backtrackings you needed to do, too.
As of August 6, Mars will no longer be in your opposite sign of Virgo, which should ease any pressure you may have felt over the past weeks when you were working closely with a collaborator or partner. You are a flexible, adaptable soul (one of the secrets of your success), so you may not have minded relinquishing total control, but as Mars begins to arch across the sky, heading in a more easterly direction, you will gradually have more control over events.
Mars will tour Libra from August 6 to September 22, and you will be back doing money management. You may be sending in tax payments, paying bills, managing credit, or working to pay off a loan. Mars often forces up spending, so you may have some large bills to pay during this coming period, now through the first three weeks of September.
