A golden triangle will appear in the night sky, linking short-distance travel (your third house) to your friends (your eleventh house) and your spouse or long-term romantic partner (your seventh house). Each area will work together, so friends and your romantic partner will all want to join you in the fun. You might be traveling to an event, such as an anniversary party, wedding, or other celebration. It is also possible that a close pal may invite you to spend a weekend at their vacation cottage. Travel overseas is also an option, cleverly paid for with frequent-flier miles and your hotel stay with credit card points.

Mars’s little brother Mercury has been retrograding in Leo since July 18 and will turn direct on August 10. Mercury is retrograde in your first house of personality, so you may have been frustrated with delays and cancellations around you. Once you move past August 10, life will improve, and you can sign contracts and shop for electronics and machines of all kinds. If you have wisely put off purchasing appliances, computers, smartphones, and other items that have moving parts inside or electronic chips, you can begin shopping a week after Mercury goes direct.

Romantically, if single, you may have luck with a blind date recommended by a friend, family member, or business colleague on or close to August 11. On this date, Venus will cuddle up to good-fortune Jupiter, the planet that rules your fifth house of true love. Dress up and step out—Cupid and his band of tiny cherubs will be circling above you, ready to zing you with their tiny arrows of love.
