Your Horoscope for Leo
by Susan MillerIt’s birthday time for you, and you will be so glad to hear that this year, your August will be filled with productivity. This will be a good, strong month, and plenty can be accomplished. It is true that Mercury, the planet that keeps the world spinning on all the facts and figures, news, travel, and transportation, and is in charge of machines and electronic equipment has been retrograde since July 18, but Mercury will go direct in Leo on August 10.
You might wonder, “How can I have a good month with clever little Mercury retrograde, being Wreck-It Ralph, determined to put a monkey wrench in my best laid plans?” The answer is the other planets will be so brilliant and unusually supportive to each other and to you that August will be simply remarkable. This will be an outstanding month. The crowd of supportive planets will so dominate, they will hardly let Mercury get a word in edgewise.
The annual new moon in Leo occurred late last month on July 24, and it was a little mixed but mainly positive. You will continue to feel that new moon as you enter August. The only planet that was difficult and might continue to cause you an incident of stress during the first week of August was the direct opposition of Pluto to the Sun and that new moon.
You might find someone close to you in love or business to be demanding and uncompromising. I don’t think this person will be your spouse (it could be, but I find it doubtful). Rather, it appears to be someone else—someone more likely connected to you through business. It could also be someone you are dealing with at work or in relation to your home, such as your landlord, contractor, designer, architect, roommate, or tenant.
No matter who is personified by Pluto in your life in late July or early August, you will be able to smooth out any tension with that person. As you go through your August forecast, in the coming weeks you will see Pluto become a friend who will help you edge closer to your goals—not thwart you. Said another way, the problem you may feel with an intransigent person in early August is not likely to continue, assuming you make an effort to find areas of agreement and cooperation.
