Your September 2025 Horoscope for Leo
by Susan Miller
This eclipse will light your second house of earned income and personal savings, investment, and spending. At this juncture, you seem ready to make a major financial decision, and because Saturn will be opposed to this new moon, you will feel the weight and long-term implications of your decision. For example, if you receive a mortgage, you will realize you will have to pay it down each month, no matter what, or risk losing the entire house.
Of course, people buy houses every day, so don’t let that stop you from your dream of being a homeowner (or whatever your dream happens to be).
With Saturn close in opposition to the new moon eclipse on September 21-22, you will have to estimate how much money you will need from your lender to begin. Even if your lender offers you more money than you requested, Saturn warns not to take it all (but if you do, pay back the excess later that week). Sometimes a bank will have a loan package that will be close to, but larger than, the amount you applied for—just pay back the overage instantly. However, with Saturn in opposition, you may take a little longer to pay it all back than you anticipate.
Saturn is asking you to be realistic. If you lose your job, do you have a rainy-day fund to help you bridge the period until you find a new one? Or if you are looking for a house, do you really need four bedrooms? Neptune will also oppose the Sun and this new moon, and Neptune can make you see the world through rose-colored glasses.
Being overly optimistic could sink your budget. Think about how much it will cost to heat those rooms in the winter—or cool them down in warm weather—and how much time, effort, or money you will need to keep all those rooms sparkling clean. Then there are property taxes and overall property upkeep—would a city condo be a more attractive option? Only you can decide, but thinking through your plan—whether business, personal, or study related—will be essential this month.
