Your Horoscope for Scorpio
by Susan Miller
If your birthday falls on or near November 7 or your rising sign is between 13 and 16 degrees Scorpio (you can allow a few degrees on either side), you will have a good chance of getting near-miraculous help from good-fortune Jupiter. If you work in academia, the court system, broadcasting, publishing, the digital world, or the international trade of goods or services, then double what I just said—your luck will follow you. The same is true if you are dealing with a matter that is connected to one of these industries. (Here I am referring to your ninth house.)
Another special day this month that rates a gold star is Tuesday, August 12 (or Monday, August 11, depending on your time zone), when good-fortune Jupiter will be conjunct Venus in Cancer. This aspect is also calling out your name. This is an aspect that happens once a year and always in a different sign. These two beautiful, benefic planets are meeting in your ninth house, stimulating all the areas listed in the paragraph above. The last time Jupiter and Venus met in Cancer was June 3, 2002. Wow!
Use August 11-12 to have an important interview, to travel, or to take legal action (not only for a case but to file a patent or trademark, for example). You can take a qualifying test at college or sign up for classes to take in September (or now, if you can find one). If you are a writer or producer, you can score a win or breakthrough.
Let’s move to the new moon on August 22 in Virgo, 0 degrees, which will light your eleventh house of friendship and hopes and wishes. This will be the first of two new moons in Virgo in a row, one month apart—this is rare. Even more remarkable, the second new moon, due September 21, will be a new moon solar eclipse. All new moons open a new path. They don’t end things—only full moons are capable of that. It is lucky that Virgo, an earth sign, is beautifully compatible with your water-sign Scorpio Sun (or rising sign).
