For some readers, a strong fifth house emphasis, like you experienced at the new moon last month (July 24), will continue your expressiveness and may have sparked your creative thinking. This is a superb time to start a major artistic project or to try a new chapter in your ongoing creative life. Your imagination will be lit by the Sun, new moon, and Mercury, so by all means, focus your attention on your craft. Creative people refer to their projects as their “baby,” and the ancient astrologers agree—that is why artistic expression is in your fifth house of romantic love and children.

Although somewhere in your life you may feel pushed by an expert, authority figure, or even a government official to face up to something you need to take care of soon (this is Pluto speaking currently in opposition to the Sun and new moon), you have plenty of help from Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus. This group will mitigate the pressure and lighten it.

Uranus’s role is a particularly interesting one here. Uranus is the planet of genius and innovation, surprise and unexpected events, rebellion, shock, independence, and scientific thinking. Transiting Uranus is currently in your third house of communication, beautifully oriented to the trio of Leo heavenly bodies—the Sun, new moon, and Mercury. This tells me your ability to collect information and to communicate with others in an articulate, sophisticated way will impress everyone in your path—and that will get you support. Your determination to gather information, exchange information, disperse information, and act on the information that you find will help you in positive and completely surprising ways this month.

The emphasis on your third house, which the new moon last month on July 24 sparked, may bring a contract to your desk to sign. If possible, wait until after August 10. (Mercury is currently retrograde in Leo and your fifth house of artistic expression, romantic love, and children, so you may be looking back on a love relationship or a matter that involves your child and making future course corrections.)
