The first half of this month will not be a good time to buy electronic products like a car, air conditioner, smart phone, or computer (do that next month if you can wait). It is a good time, though, to review the past for clues about which actions and relationships worked beautifully and what did not work at all. The only way we can improve life is to look back and find the key to the way events progressed so that we can attempt to replicate success and avoid mishaps. Mercury asks us to do that, and as it retrogrades a little over three weeks three times a year, we have plenty of opportunities to look back.
If you had a business relationship with a company, client, or college, for example, and you get a chance to work with that person or organization again now during Mercury retrograde, it’s fine to do so. You will simply be going back to a happy experience, finding ways to do more with that relationship. The same would be true with a past love—you can try again, but realize there was a reason you broke up in the first place.
I was blown away when I saw the loveliness of this month’s full moon due August 9-10 in Aquarius, 17 degrees. This full moon’s sparkling aspects will be as good as it gets, and I am sure you will enjoy it. Mercury will be on the verge of going direct on August 10-11, but this is a good example of the avalanche of positive aspects overtaking any pesky or little tricks that Mercury retrograde could bring up. I feel the positive news that will unfold from your actions will completely outweigh what else might be happening due to Mercury still retrograde at that time.
This full moon will fall in your eleventh house, which rules, among several things, parties and celebrations, so you may be invited to a party that you must attend. Any time a group comes together for a single reason, it’s an eleventh house matter. Or you may, instead, be going to a charity fundraiser, a political rally, a convention, or seminar. Any event you have on your schedule will bring you into a warm community of people who would be interested in the same topic as you, and there would be much to be gained. This is also the house of friendship, so you may make a new friend at this event. The eleventh house also rules your hopes and wishes—it is possible that a wish you’ve had for a long time finally becomes close enough to grasp.
