At eclipse time, dynamic changes often happen in the outside world that you are unaware of and have no control over that will directly affect your own life. That is the reason timetables and assumptions quickly change—eclipses are always in a hurry to see progress and productivity and will never abide a situation that languishes.
If you have not been happy in the relationship, or if your partner has been unsure or dissatisfied, it is possible one of you will want to leave. An eclipse can “eclipse out” someone in your daily environment and in this case would focus on a person you love but are not committed to yet.
Typically, a romantic relationship matures within two or three years (a Saturn cycle) and comes to the point when a decision is to be made. If you have been dating for much longer, the universe may speed things up and make the decision for you by sending an eclipse like the one September 7. That is not ideal—it is always better for you to be in charge of your future.
If you were miserable in your romantic relationship but could not find the courage to leave, this eclipse may give you the reason you must leave. In that case, because this eclipse is well aspected to your Scorpio Sun, you would leave feeling relieved and liberated. Alternatively, if you are in love with your partner and want to marry and have children, but despite dating for over three years, your partner doesn’t move to make a commitment to you, you may now give up and walk out the door. Eclipses often bring tipping points.
Eclipses make us very cognizant of the passage of time. You would see the handwriting on the wall, and leaving, as hard as that would be to do, would be the only option. This eclipse will be on a mission to see that you use your time on Earth well. No matter what happens, this eclipse is clearly set up to benefit you.
