Your Horoscope for Virgo
by Susan MillerEver since Mars entered Virgo on June 17 you have been moving at the speed of light. In July you had your to-do list, and you were checking it off in anticipation of bigger actions in August and September. Mars has not been in your sign for two years and is setting the stage for a new active chapter in your life. You’ve been dreaming about your future, and very soon you will be able to live it.
It is true that your ruling planet Mercury has been retrograde in Leo since July 18 and will go direct on August 10. Clever little Mercury was (and still is) up to his tricks to slow you down, causing delays and do-overs and creating problems with computers, smartphones, printers, Wi-Fi, and software. It’s still not the time to buy electronic items or machines, not until Mercury goes direct on August 10, leaving a space of days after this planet goes direct.
Reading that Mercury, your ruler, will still be retrograde in early August, you may be tempted to stand on your desk and scream, “I’m doomed! I cannot take another minute of Mercury retrograde!” No, no, dear Virgo, don’t worry. August has brilliant aspects and is about to bring opportunities so special that you may be amazed. I feel the brilliant aspects I am about to tell you will overpower any pesky problems that this little Dennis-the-Menace planet will dream up. Make no mistake, this is a good, strong month where you can achieve high productivity.
Mars leaves Virgo and moves into Libra on August 6, to stay until September 22. This period will emphasize your personal savings and expenses, and you will enter a period of heightened spending. You will find ways to bring in more money too, and I will point out your best days to find those lucrative sources. A gorgeous day will be August 8 when Mars will be contacted by surprise-a-minute Uranus. Uranus is currently based in Gemini and your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, setting up a link between your earned income and your standing in your company or industry, and possibly, if you have become a public figure, the world at large. I feel unexpected money may come to you at this time.
