Mercury is currently retrograde, a trend that started on July 18, and Mercury will go direct on August 10. Mercury rules your career (solar tenth house), so you may have found your progress to be a bit jumbled—two good steps forward and maybe an occasional one step back. The impediments you faced were not serious ones, and you can overcome those. You will find that your progress will be swifter after Mercury turns direct on August 10.

Mercury is the planet that rules all the facts and figures, meetings and negotiations, and communications and agreements that the world spins on—we need Mercury to be operating at full speed! When retrograde, all these areas of life go a bit haywire. Not for long, dear Sagittarius, not for long.

August holds a dazzling full moon on August 9 in Aquarius, 17 degrees, and it will light your third house of the same things Mercury rules—communications and travel. You may see a long-term negotiation come to an end. It will be time to sign the agreement or, if you already signed papers weeks ago, to launch the venture.

Jupiter is now in your financial eighth house for the first time in 12 years, bringing luck and good fortune to money matters this month.
