Your Horoscope for Sagittarius

Obstacles kept coming up, but you did get an opening to take a break during last month’s new moon on July 24. Depending on your circumstances, you may have been able to squeeze out a week to go, and if you did, you must have been happy. Sagittarius needs travel the way the rest of us need oxygen. Travel infuses you with energy and joy.
If you could not go in July, and still can’t in early August, it may be because that new moon brought an obstacle. It was possibly the kind that you simply could not get around. Pluto was standing in the doorway, blocking you and suggesting that you had clients to see, deals to make, and contracts to sign before you could even think of going out of town. In other words, there seemed to be work you had to complete, and too many people would have been impacted if you were not there to do it. It was not clear whether you had this kind of problem or not, or if you found a way to get around things.
At the same time, Mars, which the ancients called the timekeeper of the zodiac, was circulating in your prestigious tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, raising your profile and getting you the kind of compliments from VIPs that you had long hoped to hear. Mars only comes by this area of your chart every two years, for a short six to eight weeks, so this was a special period when you were able to get inside the office of almost any powerful person you needed to see.
The past weeks with Mars in this prestigious spot in your chart were helping you get the kind of attention in your industry that you deserved. Mars was laying the groundwork for more career growth and acknowledgement of your talents to come, something you will start to see later in August and certainly in late September.
