This is the house where big dreams that need funding are hatched. The money you see may come as a loan or financial aid for college, a jumbo mortgage, a major commission or royalty check, a generous golden parachute severance package, an influx of venture capital, prize money won in a contest, an inheritance, or as a settlement in a court case or divorce.
One day when you are likely to see Jupiter’s power to bring a large check to you will be August 12, when Venus and Jupiter conjoin in your eighth house of other people’s money (or August 11, depending on your time zone). Jupiter and Venus, two benefic planets, meet once a year and always in a different sign and place in your chart. This year they will meet in Cancer, a place they have not met since June 3, 2002, which is 23 years ago! Use this day to have an important interview with a prospective employer or client, negotiate and finalize a deal, apply for a research grant, or apply for money from a bank or other lender. There are many possibilities.
Now let’s move back to the topic of your career, because it appears your career is poised to bring news in late August or September. I say that because you have two new moons in a row, one month apart, due to light the same place in your chart, your tenth house of professional advancement, growth, and reward. This is rare.
The first new moon will come this month on August 22 in Virgo at 0 degrees, and the second will arrive as a new moon solar eclipse in Virgo, 29 degrees, on September 21. Both will appear in your tenth house of professional honors, awards, and achievement. New moons don’t end things, they do the opposite—new moons often present fresh opportunities and open a new path to follow. Something big appears to be bubbling up in your career.
