Your Horoscope for Sagittarius
by Susan Miller
We will look at the first new moon (August 22) here, and next month I will analyze the solar eclipse (September 21). Both will emphasize the same area of your chart—the reward sector for your career efforts.
Next month will be a big one for you for another reason, for you will also encounter a full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 7, which will center on your living quarters, other property, your home, and family. Something is coming to a crest there, and a decision will be made to finalize the matter.
This August 22 new moon could bring up a chance to interview for a new job. If you are self-employed, you could make a presentation and convey a proposal to a new client. There is a problem with this new moon, though, for Uranus will be in harsh (tight square) aspect to the new moon. This suggests that you may be interviewing for a job you want but find out later that you have a relevant competitor for the job. Due to the frequent meetings and many high-level executives you’ve met in the organization, you might feel you were led to believe that you’ve got the job. News that someone else is in the running may throw you off balance temporarily, especially if they pick that other candidate.
Alternatively, it may be that you discover that the person representing you—say, the headhunter or your agent—has not been loyal to you. They may have suggested another candidate or given a list of your flaws to the potential employer, much to your horror and feelings of betrayal. Anything like this would be a terrible disappointment. Don’t let it ruffle your feathers.
You have help from another planet—Mercury—who is taking the lead. Mercury will reach out to Mars, currently in your friendship house, so perhaps a colleague you listed as a reference (who is also a friend) could turn things in your favor by elaborating on all your talents and triumphs.
