Your Horoscope for Cancer

by Susan Miller

I looked at the app I designed, “Moonlight Phases by Susan Miller,” which tracks the movements of the moon (the fastest moving body in our solar system) and shows the state of the moon for every day of each year through 2050. The app has GPS built in, so I can see when the moon is active in my location and how she is communicating with other planets. If she is actively involved with at least one other planet, that is good—the moon is not void. Alternatively, I can see when the moon shuts down and is sleeping, and that is not good—when that happens, the moon is what’s known as “void.” (You need a wide-awake moon.)

It is never wise to do anything important on a void moon. I was surprised to see that the moon will be void for nearly 24 hours, from 3:54 AM on August 9 until Sunday, August 10, at 2:50 AM EDT, where I am in New York. The app will tell you the precise times the moon is void where you are located. If you travel, the GPS will follow you and give you the correct time wherever you are. Professional astrologers have always checked for a void moon for clients who are about to make an important decision, but doing this was always a cumbersome process. I made an app so that checking for the void moon could be as easy as pie.

(You can get my app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for $7.99. Search for “Moonlight Phases by Susan Miller.” It’s a one-time charge, not a subscription.)

I feel you can use August 8, the day before the moon reaches fullness. It is a spectacular day, which is why it’s the day I chose to debut my new surprise for you. I’m not able to give you any more information right now, so please sign up for my newsletter, and as soon as I can, I will email you all the details. You can sign up for my newsletter at www.astrologyzones.net/newsletter or click here.

You might be thinking, “Hold on for a moment. You are saying August 8 is a fine day to begin an important project, but Mercury is still retrograde then, until August 10. How do you square that, Susan?” I hear you, but I feel that August 8 is so unusually favorable that it will overtake any annoying Mercury retrograde antics. I would not sign papers on that day (I signed papers at the end of May, and the day you sign is the day you begin). Besides, Mercury is not starting to retrograde, but about to END its retrograde in a day and a half, and that makes a difference in my decision, too.
