Money will be the topic on your mind again at the full moon on August 9 (plus five days). This point in the month appears to bring far better results when it comes to boosting your financial income. The full moon is due to appear in your eighth house of other people’s money, ruling such things as your package of company benefits, university financial aid, bonuses, commissions, royalties, cash advances against future earnings, inheritances, or insurance payouts if you filed a claim. It also rules bank loans or mortgages. As you see, this house rules money that comes through the back door—not through your salary. This area glows for you. Uranus will be the dominant planet, and he’ll be super helpful—the money that suddenly comes might be a complete surprise.

Mercury, the planet ruling facts, figures, and the activities the world spins on, will still be retrograde as you enter August. Mercury started to retrograde on July 18 and will finally go direct on August 10. Still, I love the full moon on August 9, even though it is void. My favorite day for you is August 8.

If you can’t get the base salary you hoped for, you may have better luck going after company benefits. Act near or on the full moon of August 9, which will be influential for five days after it appears and one day prior, Friday, August 8 (your golden day!). Going after company benefits will be more favored for you than receiving a raise. Getting a better health care package could be worth thousands of dollars. You might be able to work from home part of the time and save money on transportation. If you work on commission or royalties or live on dividends, this is another area where the most glowing golden nuggets lie.

Action Mars is about to enter Libra on August 6 and will stay until September 22. Mars will focus your attention on your home, possibly to improve its beauty and comfort, or on your desire to help a family member. (This might explain why you are thinking so much about money.) Mars brings energy, and sometimes noise, to the place it visits, so you may be making repairs or remodeling. Or you might move to a new space. Alternatively, if you rent out space to tenants, you may be very busy while Mars is in Libra—Mars brings commotion and lots of talk, with people coming and going.
