Your Horoscope for Cancer

by Susan Miller

Before I go, I want to mention that you will be quite charismatic and magnetic in August, for Venus will be in Cancer for nearly the entire month, until August 25 (Venus entered Cancer last month on July 30).

Your most romantic day will be Monday, August 11, when Jupiter will conjoin Venus in Cancer. Wow. This is a once-a-year meeting of Venus and Jupiter, but each year they meet in a different sign. The last time they met in Cancer was on June 3, 2002, 23 years ago! I like Sunday, August 10, for your romantic life, too—the moon will be in compatible Pisces, and you will feel the exciting meeting of love planet Venus and happiness planet Jupiter building strength.

You have a lot going on, dear Cancer, and so much of it will be positive. I hope you enjoy August!

SUMMARY

As you enter August, you will be thinking quite a bit about increasing your income and improving the way you manage your money. You may have asked for a raise, but the new moon in Leo on July 24 likely brought some pushback from Pluto. If you did get a raise, it was likely small, and perhaps disappointing. This is because the company you work for appears to have frozen raises in an attempt to streamline their own finances. If you were to change jobs, you would likely run into the same situation.

Still, the July 24 new moon that ushered in this focus on money had help from Uranus, and it could bring a surprise breakthrough—news that money you need to cover an expense may be on its way to you. Saturn, the planet of stability, also jumped into action to help you, so you may have come out ahead, even though the person related to the big expense, personified by Pluto (possibly a creditor), was demanding or difficult.
